Christmas Eve with Grandma.

Grandma came over on Christmas Eve to open gifts with Jackson since she was leaving on a cruise on Christmas Day. Jackson wanted a picture with all his gifts, Grandma and his friends.
The big winner for the night was the Batman cape and mask. Thanks, Grandma!

Gingerbread house.

Today at school, Jackson made this cute gingerbread house. His teacher, Miss Starr, always thinks of such cute things for them to do. This little house is supported with a milk carton.
Unfortunately it didn't last long. After Jackson ate all the candy off of it, Franz decided it looked particularly yummy. All that was left was a few shredded up pieces of milk carton.

Breakfast with Santa.

Today was a day to which we've been looking forward for a long time...Breakfast with Santa at Nordstrom. Jackson was so excited he ran up the escalator so he could be first in line.
Jackson's first stop was with the jolly Old Elf, himself. He told him that he only wanted two things for Christmas--a batman hideout and Duplo Animals. I'm thankful that he's such an easy guy to please.
Jackson even inquired as to where he left his reindeer this morning. (Little does he know, we saw Santa pull up in a white pick up truck with a NRA bumper sticker on it. Who knew that Santa was a member of the NRA...I like him even better.)
After visiting with the balloon lady (one of the best I've ever seen), we had a good breakfast with the family.
"This was the best day, ever!"

Election Day = Good Day!

November 6, 2012, could not come soon enough for us. We--especially Charlie--had put so much work and prayer into his campaign, and thankfully, the results came down in our favor. So many of our friends helped by walking, driving, praying or donating. We were thankful for their help!
They came out to support us on Election night. And, thankfully, they got to celebrate with us as well.
Relieved is the word for the day. Relieved that we won, relieved that the campaign is over.
And, here is the victor at the podium.

Happy Halloween!

Jackson was a scary dinosaur for Halloween.
He terrorized all his friends at the Trunk or Treat.
 Looks pretty scary.
 Roar!

Pumpkin patch fun!

Jackson's preschool class went to the Pumpkin Patch. It was a cold day, but that didn't seem to bother Jackson.
He and his little friends were all bundled up and having fun on the slides.
Even the bumpy slide was more fun in the cold.

2012 Soccer Summary

Jackson's first soccer season was the Fall 2012 Season. He had a great team and a very patient and supportive coach: Mr. Ryan. Jackson had a lot of fun running around the field with his new friends.
He played in the hot and the cold, but always had a smile on his face.
Every day...except, for this one. Regardless, he was chosen as Mr. Happy for always having a good attitude and a smile. Really.
